THE HANOI TIMES — As the nation prepares to observe the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution on August 19 and Vietnam National Day on September 2, Hanoi will host two grand art programs designed to awaken national pride, foster love for the capital, and display its enduring spirit to domestic and international audiences.

The first program, entitled Hanoi: From the Historic Autumn of 1945, will take place at 8 PM on August 15 at the historic August Revolution Square in Cua Nam Ward to recreate the heroic atmosphere of that defining autumn and pay tribute to the Vietnamese people's unyielding will in their struggle for independence.
Blending music, stage art, and evocative storytelling, the program invites the audience to relive sacred moments of history and experience feelings of national pride and reflection on the journey of building and safeguarding the homeland.
On the evening of August 31, the second program "Hanoi: Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam" will take place at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh Ward and broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television and streamed on various digital platforms to reach audiences across the country.

The show will unfold in three captivating chapters: Hanoi Through the Days, Months, and Years, Hanoi in the Hearts of the People, and Vietnam in a New Dawn. It will feature a blend of traditional and contemporary art forms, including music, modern dance, animation, documentary visuals, 3D mapping, and cutting-edge lighting and sound technology.
Renowned artists, elite performing troupes, and students from leading art schools will contribute to the performance.
The two performances are centerpieces of the National Exhibition on Socio-Economic Achievements Program, underscoring Hanoi’s pivotal role as the country’s political, cultural, and historical heart over the past 80 years.
These special programs celebrate Hanoi’s rich heritage and reaffirm its position as a vibrant cultural tourism destination. They serve as a living tribute to the revolutionary spirit and shared vision of a thriving, modern Vietnam.
