THE HANOI TIMES — Twelve cultural industries will be showcased at the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements in Hanoi to mark the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.

The event is scheduled to run from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi, and will display the development journey of the 12 industries over the past eight decades.

The 12 cultural industries include advertising, architecture, software and entertainment games, crafts, design, cinema, publishing, fashion, performing arts, fine arts, photography and exhibitions, television and radio, and cultural tourism.

The display will be designed as a continuous cultural flow, connecting traditional roots to modern creativity and showcasing the industries as a vivid ecosystem.

Smart lighting technology and eco-friendly, reusable materials will be used to explore sectors such as film, performing arts, gaming, television, and radio broadcasting.

The design will draw on a vivid color palette inspired by Vietnam’s cultural landscapes , iconic landmarks, cinematic works, architecture, and visual arts.

The exhibition space will include booths featuring cinema, performing arts, software and entertainment games, television and radio, design, and advertising.

This exhibition of 12 cultural industries is part of a national exhibition titled "80 Years of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness," presenting a comprehensive portrait of Vietnam's history and modern identity.

The showcase will highlight Vietnam’s most significant achievements in politics, the economy, society, defense, diplomacy, science and technology, health, education, culture, and tourism.

The event is expected to convene 34 provinces and cities, international organizations, and state and private enterprises. Each will be responsible for designing an exhibition space that reflects its contributions to national development.
